Laser lipolysis, associated and body treatments in Laser therapy

As a therapeutic alternative for difficult liposculpture cases where the scarring contraction is of uncertain intensity and as a non-surgical alternative, from November 2008, IML has a new dual laser emission device at 925 and 975 Nm at its disposal; used for the destruction of fat tissue (through the introduction of subcutaneous optical fibre).
The effect of the 975 Nm emission produces an important skin tightening effect associated with the destruction of the fat tissue that achieves highly satisfactory results in areas with fine dermis (inside arms and thighs, neck and jowl), areas of uncertain retraction (stomach, bra rolls, love handles, front of the knees or subgluteal region), areas of damaged skin (post-gestational abdomen, stretch marks and accumulation of subjacent fat), areas of aged skin, irregular areas from prior liposculpture. The optical features of both light emissions and the parameters used are analysed to date. Sample of clinical results and conclusions.
